Permits are issued subject to the present fire weather conditions, and may contain restrictions and nominated times. Permits are not issued when the Fire Danger Rating is Very High or above. On days with Fire Danger Rating is VERY HIGH or above – existing permits are CANCELLED.
Restricted (Permits required) burning period dates are set by Mundaring Shire and may change depending on seasonal conditions. If in doubt, check the Shire website, or call Darlington brigade (9299 7217).
During these periods, residents are required to obtain a Permit to burn from their local fire brigade.
Permits may be obtained from the Darlington fire station on a Saturday between 9:00 a.m and 10:00 a.m.
