All volunteer firefighters are required to complete basic training and demonstrate competency in the field under supervised conditions prior to attending any fires.<\/p>\n

Training courses are conducted several times a year, with a break during the summer months.\u00a0 Volunteers can enrol in courses either at the Mundaring Firefighters School or through DFES Training Academy. All training is provided to help you gain the skills to safely and correctly combat fires and situations as they develop.<\/p>\n
